Styled 3 Ways: The Audrey Jacket in Boston

Next, Laura popped the blazer over a striped shift and added a pair of wedges for a work-ready ensemble.
Dressing for class in April and an internship in June can make for a tricky wardrobe transition. This shift can be particularly tough for those working in a startup environment--how does a summer intern walk the fine line between looking both creative and professional? We decided to feature our interns, Caroline and Mollie, who have managed to look polished and cool every day on the job.
On this hot afternoon in Georgetown, the girls styled a few outfits that were perfectly suited for a summer day at work. First, they dressed up their tailored shorts with airy blouses, and added accessories to achieve a sophisticated yet understated professional look. Then, Mollie tucked a Bella Dahl chambray shirt into white jeans, which she then paired with red smoking slippers, a Raina belt, and an arm-full of bangles. Caroline added a gold belt to a cobalt blue dress before popping on a Two Penny Blue blazer and gold flats. With a few great accessories to accent a sophisticated base, these two looked comfortable, confident, and ready to work.
Our friends Cassie and Justin, both Boston dwellers, rarely have to dress in traditional office attire. Cassie, once a suited investment banker in NYC, recently started her own educational software company. Justin, in product design, works in an artistic and casual environment. However, both have occasions and meetings for which they need to don more professional attire. This is why they love our favorite versatile button downs.
Cassie wears her Icon Shirt with a skirt and beautiful scarf for a dressed up look for dinner with friends, looks office chic as she styles her shirt with a bold blazer and black shorts, then completely dresses the shirt down for a lobster roll at the famous Luke's lobster. Justin wears his sleek shirt with a blazer and great tie for a meeting before changing into a more dressed down look to meet up with Cassie for lunch.
Our intern Emma was featured in our Tuckernuck Style section last fall. As always, we admire her ability to add a bohemian and hip touch to the most traditional of outfits. This year, she was joined in DC by her equally charming younger sister, Carly, a George Washington University student. We caught up with them at the local gourmet market after their respective internships. Emma threw on her Barbour Jacket over a flirty polka dot dress, and added some spice with her scalloped booties. Carly stayed office-appropriate in her versatile pencil skirt and amazing gray blazer (the plaid detail really makes the outfit).
Meet Katherine and Grant, fellow entrepreneurs, and DC's newly engaged power couple. We caught up with them in historic Georgetown where they agreed to let us snap some pics of them wearing their favorite Tuckernuck items. We know that the holidays are a time of giving, and this couple is no stranger to advocating for those less fortunate. Katherine is a Principal of Availor Group, a social impact fund, and a Board member of the Prevent Cancer Foundation while Grant is the founder of the Ocular Melanoma Foundation. The ever elegant couple works tirelessly to help others in need. That's why we found it appropriate to feature them as one of our Holiday Tuckernuck Style posts, reminding us what this season is truly all about.
Katherine is pictured wearing our favorite holiday dress, the Amber along with Kenneth Jay Lane Sapphire Tear Drop Earrings and the Melisa Bracelet, while Grant sports our new Highlands Tweed Jacket, Port Royal Button Down and Woven Elephant Tie. For a more casual look, Katherine threw on a Madison Marcus Jewel-Neck Striped Sweater paired with our Cobalt Blazer and the Champagne Isabella Tote. Grant is wearing our Barbour Down vest, a Vineyard Vines flannel and some leather croakies.
Meet Rachel and Khaki, our friends from Philadelphia and two of the incredibly talented women behind Grays Lane. With beautiful photography and a sophisticated style, Grays Lane celebrates Philadelphia’s unique style and heritage. Every story and feature has a connection to Philadelphia and to the Main Line. As women with an eye for design and beautiful clothes, we were thrilled to have Rachel and Khaki style their favorite Tuckernuck items. Be sure to check it out their most recent issue as the fashion and interior designs found throughout the magazine are very reflective of the clean-cut, American aesthetic we love.
Rachel, Grays Lane's Creative Director and the photographer who shot these images, is pictured wearing our Saint James Garde-Cote II and Red Skinny Jeans paired with French Sole's Passport Quilted flats.
Khaki, Grays Lane's Fashion Director is pictured wearing Elizabeth McKay's Elizabeth Blouse with a Two Penny Blue jacket and bow belt.
Meet Robin, Jocelyn's best friend from Brown and Washington D.C.'s most stylish real estate developer. We caught up with her in her fabulous historic apartment to see how she rocks her Two Penny Blue Audrey Blazer with traditional work attire, flea market scouring biker boots, and of course, a sizzling evening dress. Whether she's traipsing through construction sites or hosting an evening fete, she finds a way to make every look timeless and chic with this staple piece.
