It’s that time of year where weekend getaways to some sort of body of water are a must. We followed along with our Creative Director to show us how she wore her KULE striped shirt on her recent trip to Mt. Desert Island, Maine. See how she wears her stripes from dock to dinner and everywhere in between.
A wrap skirt with this shirt plus my woven bag is a quick, comfy outfit for sightseeing and then lunch. The Bass Harbor Head Light is at the southern-most tip of the island, and was opened in 1858. We like to head down by boat, see the lighthouse, then eat lunch at Thurston’s Lobster Pound.
The island has many inlets and bays, so getting around by boat can be more efficient. We took a long boat ride one day to this charming foggy island. I paired down the tee with shorts. Not shown: my sweater that is totally necessary for exploring the coast by sea.
It’s not a trip to Maine without a lobster dinner with a blueberry cobbler for dessert. I survived the lobster pinch in high waisted culottes and my favorite pair of earrings from our jewelry line.
